A Purpose Driven Life Leads to a Happy Life
A Purpose Driven Life Leads to a Happy Life
Never has there been a better time to lead a purpose driven life based on your heart’s desire and true passion in life. For those of you who haven’t found that true passion and are perhaps unconsciously using that as an excuse to stay in your present circumstances then this article is for you. For those of you who know what your passion is and still are afraid to live a purpose driven life then please read on too.
“The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation” Henry David Thoreau
Many of the people I meet daily, in particular during my coaching sessions are not truly happy, yet they can’t quite put their finger on why that is. Inevitably when I ask them if they are happy about individual parts of their lives they always answer not really or sometimes or variations on this theme. The answer is of course they are not leading a purpose driven life, they are not following their heart and intuition. They are in the ‘the system,’ they are manipulated by media, government, consumerism and the “need” to work. People have been scammed to give a days worth of their life force energy to someone else and be thankful with a low wage which has to be split with their government.
People also need to stop saying what is in it for me? The question should be how can I best serve mankind? If you think like this you will be amply rewarded in time.
Earlier I said need to work, not desire to work! People have a work ethic and not a lifestyle. They have been conditioned to follow this pattern because if they didn’t who would pay the mortgage(mortgage is French for death pledge), car loan payments and feed the kids? People have been consistently and skillfully manipulated by the global elite (banksters) for a century and more. And of course they remain in ‘the system’ because of fear. Fear of what they think might happen (FEAR stands for False Evidence Appearing Real).
It’s now time to awaken and find your purpose in life. It is now time to start thinking ‘out of the box’ and lead a truly purpose driven life based on how you want to spend your time. It is time to serve mankind (not government) and monetise this service to your advantage. You will not be happy or wealthy working for someone else. You will not have a lifestyle, you will have a workstyle!!
Here is my idea of a truly purpose driven life:
1. You are fully expressing your creativity, because you have the time, and because it’s easy when you are following your passion. Don’t forget everyone has a passion. Many just havn’t found it yet;
2. Because you are 100% committed to following your passion you are working for yourself. This means you can monetise this passion and you become wealthy, not someone else.
3. You are not a member of the old world, the 9-5 brigade. You have a lifestyle to follow, not a conditioned work ethic.
4. You can focus on whats important to you much more easily including family and relationships. This is because you have the time to focus on your number one priority. You. When you can do this everyone around you benefits.
5. You serve and contribute to mankind and become financially free doing it.
6. You have let go of ego and your past conditioning and have at last listened to your inner voice or your higher self.
We all want to be happy. The best way is to follow a purpose driven life. Once you do this doors will open for you. You will serve and draw people to you and finally you will be amply rewarded for your effort.
One of the main problems people put forward to not following a purpose driven life is time and money. Having more time is easy. Stop following the 9-5 brigade and follow your passion. This way you will have at least an extra 40hrs per week. By having more time you will be more focused and creative and can follow your chosen purpose driven life. You will be more energetic and can concentrate on living a healthy lifestyle. Simplicity is important. When you are not rushed, being centered and in harmony with life is much easier and you feel happier and more peaceful. By doing all these things, in time, you will more than make just enough money, you will become financially free.
It is time to awaken to your true purpose. You are 100% responsible for your life. You cannot let the responsiblity of this important task fall to government or an employer. If you look around you they clearly are not interested in your welfare. It is time to take responsibility for your own life.
If you remain in your present unhappy position you are not following the reason you were sent here, you will not be following your true life purpose. When you follow a purpose driven life you are automatically connected to the universe or consciousness or infinite self, whatever you want to call it. When this happens you will not have a work ethic which has been conditioned into you, you will have the lifestyle that you desire.
A few more pointers:
1. It will be easier to center yourself and find balance. Life becomes “slower”. You will not be as stressed, your health will improve along with your mood. You will become more creative and ideas will start to flow. Life becomes pleasureable and happiness increases. Living a purpose driven life is a very powerful way to live.
2. When you make the commitment to follow your passion and life purpose you will become financially independent. Initially it will be scary because you may have very little income. If you make the commitment though your financial situation will turn round. You can also follow your passion part time while still following your 9 to 5. A very good solution and one I highly recommend is SBI – see below
3. Your energy level will increase simply because you are on purpose, self determining and following your passion. You are no longer part of ‘the system’, the ‘tick tock’ world of drudgery and routine.
4. Over time the fear based life that you used to lead is replaced by love and compassion. You have escaped the slave system and feel compassion for the people who can’t get out. You realise life is what you make it. It is your map of reality. Change that and everything else changes. The illusion that you once thought real falls away and you see reality more clearly.
“…you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32
5. Your relationships will improve. You will have more time and that time will have much more quality to it. You will be able to relate to spouses, children and friends on a much deeper level. However don’t be surprised if certain relationships fall by the way side. Remember you will be a much more positive person and on purpose in life. You don’t want or need negative people around you anymore.
6. You will become much more focused and your mental clarity will improve because you are following your goals. Remember only to have a maximum of 5 tasks per day. These are tasks that you must do no matter what. If they don’t come into that category then don’t add them to your list. My time management page below should help you in this regard.
7. Your level of happiness will increase. Your sense of frustration will decrease as you live a purpose driven life.
8. As you live the type of life that you want your life experiences will increase, you will probably travel more, meet new people and see how the world really is, not how it is reported to be by the media and the people who want to keep you in servitude. Your increased awareness will go a long way to helping set other people free of the illusion of outdated thinking and indeed of the new world order that governments are now forcing on their citizens.

Motivation Means Presence Not Presents
Motivation Means Presence Not Presents
Let me ask you a quick question; do you have any children? I don’t have any children, however, I appreciate the challenges that parents face and I’m most reluctant to tell anyone how to bring up their children.
Whether you do or don’t have children, I’m certain you appreciate the importance of raising them to be happy and successful.
To do that, you’d take a great deal of interest in them and what they’re doing; show you care about them and give them lots of your time and attention.
Children show us from an early age that they want lots of attention. We become aware of this by the way they physically and emotionally, reach out to us. If we fail to provide their required level of attention or acknowledgement, then they’ll almost certainly let us know; usually by behaving badly.
Some parents have difficulty in giving time and attention and often bribe or pay their children to be successful with offers of gifts or money. “Pass your exams and I’ll buy you a new bicycle!” However, children want presence not presents and if they fail to receive their acceptable level of attention and acknowledgement, then they may behave badly.
Not a lot changes when we become adults; we still crave attention and acknowledgement from other people. We look for it from our partners, friends, children, parents and, very importantly – our boss at work!
Successful Motivational Managers realise this and provide their staff with attention and acknowledgement.
They spend quality time with every member of their staff, giving feedback on job performance; be it good or bad.
They listen to problems, both business and personal; they show interest and help the staff member find solutions
They show that they trust and believe in their staff by empowering them to make decisions and be responsible for their actions
Successful Motivational Managers do not bribe or pay their staff to be successful. Incentives, bonuses and prizes are all acceptable; however, they will never replace attention and acknowledgement.
Some food for thought; take a minute and think about someone in your life who you did your best for. Perhaps it was a parent, a teacher or a manager. What was it about them that made you want to do your best; was it presence or presents??

How You Can Choose A Hypnotist
How You Can Choose A Hypnotist
Hypnotists have become popular for their skills in helping people resolve difficult situations. Hypnosis has been successfully used for smoking cessation, weight loss, relief of social inhibition, confidence building, and much more. If you’ve been trying to solve a bad habit or a roadblock in your life and have not met with success, perhaps you should try hypnosis. It’s not entirely known why hypnosis works, but done properly, it can be a very relaxing way to greatly improve your life.
There are two important factors inherent in making hypnosis work. The first is that you have to be willing to consider it. If you’re going in for a hypnosis session and you are convinced that it’s not going to work, that’s probably going to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Instead, look at hypnosis as a tool that’s going to help you get past roadblocks you’ve got. You should at least give it a chance to work without being skeptical until you’ve given it an honest try. Another point to consider is that unless you plan to use self-hypnosis, you’ll need to work with a trained and reputable hypnotist or participate in hypnotherapy sessions. For best results, you need to look for a reputable professional. You want someone who has experience with this very valuable tool and can truly use it to your benefit.
It can be a challenge to find a professional hypnotist or hypnotherapist. The reason for this is that hypnosis or hypnotherapy is not regulated in most states. Therefore, it becomes your responsibility to do careful homework and conduct research so that you can find a truly reputable professional. If a hypnotist has been “certified,” he or she will have completed 200 or better hours of training in hypnosis. Nevertheless, even though this training can be extensive, a hypnotherapist does not need to have any type of professional healthcare training.
By contrast, those who have been licensed in healthcare can practice hypnotherapy. Some of those who may participate in this practice include psychologists, doctors and social workers. In this case, the professional in healthcare will complete his or her degree and then will receive additional training in hypnosis. Whether you wish to choose a certified hypnotist or licensed hypnotherapist is your choice. However, research the professional you choose as carefully as you would any other healthcare professional, such as a doctor or dentist. To do so, ask the following questions and make sure you receive specific, honest information in regard to the following:
- Where did the professional you’re considering receive his or her training, residency, etc.?
- What school or university did he or she attend?
- How many years has this person been practicing hypnosis and related training, such as medicine, psychology, etc.?
- Does the professional you’re considering have specific training in a related field such as psychology, medicine, or social work?
- Is the professional you’re considering licensed in a particular healthcare field in the state he or she is practicing hypnotherapy or hypnosis in?
In most cases, if you choose a trained hypnotist or hypnotherapist, you’re going to be safe. These professions and professionals care about you and your success almost as much as you do. However, you should ask the above questions, request references, and check out such organizations as the Better Business Bureau to make sure the organization or professional has no unresolved or excessive complaints. Finally, follow your instincts when you choose your hypnotist or hypnotherapist, since you’ll want one that is not just professional but who will also make you feel comfortable and earn your confidence. If you have confidence and are comfortable with the professional you choose, you’ll be much more likely to have success with hypnosis in overcoming your particular difficulties. This comfort will make you much more open to receiving suggestions and help from the professional you choose.

Positive Thinking : Implementing In Your Life
Positive Thinking : Implementing In Your Life
Positive thinking is one of the self-improvement techniques that, on successful implementation, will help a person fulfill his ambitions, achieve the goals set for achieving, and above all, help the person lead a happy and peaceful life.
What is positive thinking? What difference does positive thinking make in one’s life? How one can achieve success, happiness and peace of mind with the assistance of positive thinking?
Well, positive thinking is nothing but thinking positive. It is all about the mental attitude of the person at any given point of time, the attitude that drives the subconscious mind of a person to expect only favorable results at all times, and in all circumstances. A person interested in mastering the trait of positive thinking has to develop a positive attitude in doing his activities, and expect to receive only successful outcomes from his activities. He however, has to ensure that all such things that are required to achieve success are carried out.
Merely expecting positive outcomes from the actions will not suffice; it should be followed by actions, which, of course, will be driven by the positive attitude. By constantly thinking in a positive manner about the success and chanting words such as “I can do”, “it can be done” etc. the subconscious mind is trained to think in a positive manner and this subconscious mind will help in taking all positive steps to ensure that success and happiness are guaranteed in your endeavors. Positive thinking or the mental attitude will help a person in determining what he/she wants to achieve in life, extend assistance in goal setting process, and provide all the will power and strength required to strive for achieving that goal.
The mental attitude of expecting only positive outcomes, which is a sign of success, in all situations, helps a person present himself to the other persons at large as a confident, cheerful person. The person with positive thinking will feel energetic, happy, and exhilarated. The people will sense the aura, which is believed to represent the soul vibrations and mirror the prevailing moods as well as thoughts, of a person with positive thinking and they will be positively affected by the person with the positive mental attitude.
The eyes of a person with positive thinking will be bright, filled with energy and displaying happiness as he sees through his mind’s eye the constructive images and pleasant images of what he aspires to be, thanks to the positive mental attitude. This positive attitude, brightness in the eyes, and energetic feeling emanating from one’s body attracts the other persons with similar attitudes, following the Laws of Attraction such as “Like attracts like” or “Birds of a feather flock together”.
In order to develop the habit of positive thinking, it is essential that one develop a positive attitude towards the life. The first and foremost thing that every person, aspiring to cultivate and nurture the habit of positive thinking, needs to do is to put an end to negative thoughts, disbelief and fear from the mind. Negative thoughts not only frustrate a person, but also discourage him from doing actions confidently, and finally, lead to a vicious circle of failures, negative feelings, and discouragement.
It is a known fact that thoughts have a predominant role in determining what we are and what we aspire to become. To cultivate the habit of positive thinking, which is an ongoing process and needs to be practiced over a longer period, one needs to have positive thoughts.
As a step in the direction of positive thinking, one person has to cultivate the habit of visualizing the beneficial aspects and favorable situations at any given point of time. The person has to constantly energize his/her inner thoughts and subconscious mind with positive words and positive feelings. While engaging in dialogues with other people as well, it is advisable that positive thoughts and words are uttered. In addition to words, it also helps to smile occasionally while speaking, which will also help in developing the positive attitude.
While doing all things in positive manner it is also essential that feelings of laziness, procrastination or such other negative ideas should not be encouraged and shunned at the earliest possible time. Negative ideas and negative thoughts are more detrimental and stumbling blocks in the path to develop the trait of positive thinking, and it is imperative that extra efforts are made to shun out negative attitudes and negative feelings.
One more important aspect that needs to be borne in mind is that patience needs to be exercised while developing the trait of positive thinking, with a firm belief to make a positive impact in life.

Different Parts of Human Brain and Its Functions
Different Parts of Human Brain and Its Functions
A normal human brain weighs about 2% of the total body weight. Human brain grows up to 75-80% of the adult size with in the first two years and full size at the age of 6 years. It is situated in a bony case called cranium which protect it from injuries. Brain is covered with cranial meninges. Human brain is wrinkled surface and pinkish grey in colour. It is formed of more than 100 billion neurons. Since each neuron can connect with about 25,000 other cells there are about 2.5 million billions inter linked nerve connection in the brain. Human brain can be divided in to three regions, Fore brain, Mid brain and Hind brain..for details visit
http://expertscolumn.com/content/different-parts-human-brain-and-its-functions
Fore brain
Fore brain consists of cerebrum and diencephalons.
A)Cerebrum
Cerebrum is the largest portion and occupies about 2/3 portions of human brain. It is divided by longitudinal fissures in to two cerebral hemispheres. Two hemispheres are connected by a horizontal sheet of nerve fibre called corpus callosum. It consists of long bundles of densely packed nerve fibre which are 10 cm long. There are about 200 millions of nerve fibres in the corpus callosum.
Each cerebral hemisphere is divided in to four lobes by three deep grooves called fissures. From the front to the back they are frontal lobe, temporal lobe, parietal lobe and occipital lobe. The left part of the brain controls the right part of body and right half controls the left part.
Functions of various lobes of cerebrum
1)Frontal lobe
It involves in the inner monitoring of complex thoughts and actions and creative ideas. It helps in the translation of perceptions and memories in to action. Will power and personality is affected by the development of this lobe. Abstracting ability and decision making ability is controlled by this lobe.
2)Temporal lobe
Temporal lobe helps in the decoding and interpretation of sounds. It helps in the language comprehension. It is the centre for memory and emotions.
3)Parietal lobe
It is the main area for feeling of touch, hot, cold and pain. It takes informations from surroundings and organizes it and communicates to the other part of the brain. It controls activities like reading a clock, dressing ourselves.
4)Occipital lobe
Occipital lobe decodes and interprets the visual informations such as shape and colour.
Cerebral Cortex
The outer surface of the cerebrum is called cerebral cortex. It is a layer of 2-4 mm thick. Cerebral complex has a grayish brown appearance . Hence it is referred to as gray matter. Surface of cerebral cortex is divided in to many number of folds. This increases the surface area of the brain.
B) Diencephlon
Diencephlon is hidden by cerebrum. It consists of mainly subcortical nuclei, thalamus and hypothalamus.
1)Subcortical Nuclei
Different collections of neurons are known as nuclei. Each nucleus has its own specific function. The nuclei has its own functions. The nuclei control different activities automatically. In the forebrain at the base of the cortex there is a collection of subcortical nuclei. It is called basal ganglia. Corpus striatum is the largest nucleus present in it. It regulates planning and execution of stereotyped movements.
2)Thalamus
Thalamus lies laterally posterior to the cerebrum. It is the important link between sense organs and cerebral cortex. Thalamus receives majority of the incoming signal from the sense organs. It determines the source of signals, evaluates their importance and integrates and passes them to the cerebrum.
3)Hypothalamus
Hypothalamus lies in the base of thalamus. It is a small vascularised structure weighs about 4 gm. It is only about 1/300 of the total brain mass.
Functions of hypothalamus
1) It integrate and control visceral activities. The nuclei present in the hypothalamus gives signal to the body to eat, drink, get angry, keep cool, make love etc
2) Through its connections to the brain stem it maintains homeostasis and internal equilibrium of the body.
3) It organizes behaviour related to the survival of the species such as fighting, feeding, fleeing and mating. A septum which is linked to the hypothalamus contains another emotion centre for sexual arousal.
4) It maintains body temperature at constant level by means of a complex thermostat system.
5) They correct the rate of heart beat and respiration if they are wrong.
Mid brain
It forms the middle portion of the brain. It controls the activity of voluntary muscles. It is also concerned with auditory and visual reflexes. Mid brain consists of four small lobes called corpora quadrigemina. The upper lobes are a pair of superior colliculi and lower lobes are called inferior colliculi. The superior part of colliculi receives sensory informations from eyes and muscles of the head. They control all visual reflexes by co-ordinating the movements of head and eyes. The inferior pair of colliculi receives sensory impulses from the ears and muscles of the head. They control all auditory reflexes.
Hind brain
Hind brain consists of cerebellum, medulla oblongata and pons varoli.
1)Cerebellum
Cerebellum is the second largest part of the brain. It is placed between the cerebral hemispheres and brain stem. It is made up of two cerebral hemispheres.
Functions of cerebellum
A)It maintains of posture and equilibrium of the body is another function.
B)Cerebellum plays an important role in controlling all rapid muscular activities such as running, typing, talking etc
2)Medulla oblongata
It is the posterior most part of the brain. It connects the various parts of the brain with spinal cord. Medulla controls important subconscious activities such as breathing, digestion, heart beat etc
3)Pons varoli
Pons varoli forms the floor of the brain stem. It is a neural connection connecting the cerebral cortex with cerebellum. It relays the information between cerebrum and cerebellum.

Is the term of emotional intelligence needed?
Is the term of emotional intelligence needed?
In, 1999, John D. Mayer and Peter Salovey published the article in which they presented a new term of emotional intelligence. The authors understand the emotional intelligence as a group of abilities: to perceive and express emotion, assimilate emotion in thought, understand and reason with emotion and regulate emotion in the self and others. Few years later, in 1996, Daniel Goleman defined emotional intelligence as a set of competencies and skills.
From this time there is an ongoing debate in the research papers which is focused on the nature of emotional intelligence (see for example: Matthews, Roberts, Zeidner, 2004; Martowska, 2007; Matczak, 2005; Matczak, 2006; Mayer, Salovey, Caruso, Sitarenios, 2001).
Some authors (for example Gerald Matthews, Richard D. Roberts, Moshe Zeidner) suggest that we don’t need the new intelligence and we should not name this new term as emotional intelligence (Matthews, Roberts, Zeidner, 2004). They highlight that it’s not possible for the emotional intelligence to meet the criteria required for a traditional, cognitive intelligence test. The most important criterion is that: the intelligence should be operationalized as a set of abilities and the intelligence tests should have one correct answer.
The approach of Goleman does not conform to these criteria, who includes a set of emotional competencies within. And it’s clear that in psychology emotional competencies are defined as skills not as abilities.
But we can argue that Mayer and Salovey (1990, 1999) define emotional intelligence as a set of abilities. The opponents suggest that we shouldn’t overlook the fact that there is huge difference between self-report and ability-based tests. Cognitive abilities are measures of performance and they assess the ability to solve problems in various cognitive domains. They also argue that we should take into consideration the fact that in psychology self-report test are usually used to assess personality traits.
Mayer, Salovey, Caruso and Sitarenios (2001) give arguments to prove their point of view that the model they proposed is hierarchical and the status of abilities in this model is different. For example emotional understanding is most allied with cognitive and abstract reasoning and it is most cognitively saturated. And in practice, what data show, emotional understanding does correlate most highly with IQ. On the other hand emotion management creates an interface between the cognitive system and the more general personality system. It means that emotion management is actually less cognitive than emotional understanding. In spite of these arguments Mayer and Salovey think that the most important now is not to ask if emotional intelligence exists or if it is “really” intelligence but it is important if emotional intelligence seems to be an important predictor of various outcomes at school, work and home. And some data show that emotional intelligence is good predictor of well being, life satisfaction, greater satisfaction in relationship, stress coping, academic success. The authors (Mayer, Salovey, Caruso, Sitarenios, 2001) summarize: “that the development and understanding traditional cognitive intelligence requires a number of years and research. The most widely used cognitive scales of intelligence – The Wechsler Intelligence Scales, are the product of 60 years of research (…) and was initiated after an earlier 40 years of work on the clinical assessment of intelligence”. And the term of emotional intelligence is quite young – it is 11 years old now and is full of promise.
